As the years have gone by…
I think the goat has been replaced with a pony!!
Today is my momma’s birthday. She’s a very proud 86 years young.
Her “birth” day is September 18, 1921.
Connersville, Indiana welcomed
Geraldine Ellen Langan
into the world along
with her mother, Mary Agnes Hendricks 1894-1972
and her father, Thomas Joseph Langan 2nd 1893-1952.
Momma is the third of six children;
Dorothy (Billie) Louise 1914-1984
Thomas Joseph 1915-1999
Agnes Jean 1925-1980 and Jane 1925-1985
and Delores 1931-2001.
She married my dad, Thomas Henry Hennley 1920-2000
on April 14, 1941 in Muskegon Michigan.
She is the very hearty survivor of her husband of 59 years,
her parents, siblings, my sister Diana 1943-1986 and two
of my children Phillip 1976 and my darling Britt 1979-1997.

The Wedding Picture
My sister Diana was born while my dad was fighting
in WWII. Diana was 18 months old when she met Dad.

I remember this New Year’s Eve
because I took the photo in 1960 something.
