On Christmas Day after all the pressies had been opened, We asked the grandbabies to go upstairs and have a go with their new light sabers. We then handed out special gifts to each of the adults.
We each simultaneously opened our new, ready to use, foam dart guns. (I had already taken off the individual wrapping of each dart gun so they popped right out of the boxes.)
Monkey Boy wasn’t allowed to participate however he’s holding one of the guns.

Knowing our children I knew I would need an advantage, thus MY gun.
The bullets, I mean darts, started flying well before Mindi was ready.
Brian preparing to fire!
There was as much tackling for darts as there was shooting the darts.
So much for the babies safely hiding out upstairs. It was long before the “game” took over the house.

And it wasn’t long before the babies were involved.
Quite often the moving targets were taking cover and had to be hunted.

Todd’s reloading to go after Brian and Mindi.
Strategizing.

Todd has darts but he doesn’t have a gun…that’s not good.
In the end Brian’s family stuck together!
But…in the beginning…Monkey Boy and Bear were on MY side!!
