It wasn’t until a week after we returned home and the photographs of our camping holiday were developed that I saw the following photo. Brian is sitting on what is called the “Diving Board”. Keep in mind that he is sitting on a narrow piece of rock that is over 4,737 feet high. It is a straight drop down to the valley below.

Okay, so he was sixteen and fearless BUT…his father had taken the photo! (My wasband, not NY) I’m not saying this photo is why we are no longer married however I do believe telling your sixteen year old son to go out and sit on a skinny piece of rock hanging over a death drop is definitely grounds for divorce.
