O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree!
If you celebrate Christmas,
Do you have a live Christmas tree or an artificial tree?
We have an artificial and love it. Especially that it’s pre-lit.
(Scroll down to see a photo of our tree)
When the kids wee growing up we always bought live trees in pots and planted them in our yard.
If you don’t celebrate Christmas, can you share a tradition that you do celebrate this time of year?
We love learning about other people’s beliefs and traditions.

We have a live tree.

I don't have either yet! I'm so behind.

We have a plastic tree, which is stupid considering that we live on ten pine covered acres. We bought it when we lived in hawaii, but our youngest finished it off this year. It's totally broken and from now on we'll be cutting one frm the forest.

we have an artificial tree. we bought it about 5 years ago. prior to that it was always a live one. but we decided to save ourselves from the dried up and dying tree before the 25th plus the cost of a live one every year. i do miss the smell, though.
wishing you a merry Christmas.

fake and prelit! it's WONDERFUL!
Midday Escapades says
Always artificial. I just can't deal with all the hassles of a live tree but I know lots of folks like it better. Your tree is very nice!
Happy Aloha Friday!

Live Christmas tree for us.

Normally live, but last year we bought a fake one that will last us until the kids get old enough not to put the needles in their mouths! If Isabella is our last baby, then probably in about 2 years we'll go back to real!

We have an artificial pre-lit tree. I love it! Makes clean up so much easier! And if you have the right candle, now one would know different!
Auntie E says
Artificial one.

We are Jewish. If we had a tree I think we would do artificial to save trees/money and keep things more clean.
We have a Chanukah party each year with family. We light the menorah, have a meal with potato latkes and spend time together. Of course when the kids get older they will probably play the dreidel game too.

We always had an artificial tree, except one year. And that year we found out our oldest son is highly allergic to real trees. Last year, after taking his dog to the vet and a real tree was in the waiting room, he ended up in the ER. I can't even have Yankee Candles lit with any hint of pine, cedar etc. or he has an allergic reaction.

fake and small so I am a little sad about it

We have an artificial tree. I love real trees – they smell glorious. But the last live tree we had about 25 years ago didn't have a single needle left on it by Christmas!
Merry Christmas…Kathy

We have a pre-lit artificial tree, too. I love how easy it is to set it up!

We have a fake, pre-lit tree too…and we love it. We decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving and this allows us to put it up and not have to worry about watering it, etc. Also, I am a little OCD…and love the even distribution of the lights. LOL
When you get a chance, please head over to my 13 yr old nieces blog, she is new to the blog world and gonna be looking for advice and it's a great place for you to ask questions to a teen if need be…she's a good girl.
