We met up with family at Disneyland this week. We had a lovely time and actually stayed for the fireworks display, which we don’t often do.
At only five feet tall, unless I have a front row seat (or standing room), most of my view is blocked by anyone in front of me, which can discourage me from many things. But we found a great place on Main Street, in front of the Blue Ribbon Bakery, to watch the ‘Magical, A Fireworks Spectacular.’ And, as evident from our photos, the view was fabulous!
All my childhood memories of Tinkerbell flying across Disneyland came back in vivid color!! Only now, Tink makes several passes, dancing about in the sky as she goes.
The castle lighting changes with the music … and we sang along with the oh so familiar tunes.
Did I mention I’ve always wished I could fly like Tink?!
Dumbo was pure magic! He was so real! All the children right along with me squeeled in delight as he sailed through the sky!
And Tinkerbell (not to be out done!) danced thoughout the show. Doesn’t that just fit her personality perfectly?!
Gorgeous!
There’s only one thing I would have changed … I wish our grandchildren would have been with us!!
Disneyland Resort’s Soundsational Summer (June 3 – September 5) includes the twice a night ‘Magical, A Fireworks Spectacular’, the twice daily ‘Soundsational Parade’, the ‘World of Color’, the grand opening of ‘Ariel’s Undersea Adventure’, the newly designed 3D ‘Star Tours’ and ‘Goofy’s Sky School.’ Be sure to check the times for the dates you plan to attend at the official Disneyland Resort website. But hurry … there are only 66 days left of this Soundsational Summer!

These are absolutely gorgeous photos! Love the new Dumbo and had not heard about them. So out of the Disneyland loop. One day I hope to take the kids to visit.
