Here in Southern California it has been getting very warm. I consider it down right hot. While NY likes the heat … I don’t. At all. I don’t function well when I’m hot and I don’t feel well either. Never have. I might feel different if I lived on the beach or in the mountains on a lake. You know, with a nice cool breeze. But I don’t. So, I’m not looking forward to summer. I’m not looking forward to summer at all.
How about you? Do you like the heat of summer?

I prefer the warmth of summer but not the humidity, which we get here in New England. I am looking forward to the warmer weather especially since my husband and I just returned from Aruba where it was 90ish with tropical breezes to coming home to rain and temps in the low 50s.

I definitely do not like summer heat – especially if it includes humidity. At least when the weather is cooler you can layer – when it’s hot you can only take so many clothes off! 🙂
Have a great weekend, Cathy – and Happy Mother’s Day! 🙂

I am not a fan of the heat. When it reaches the point where you can’t enjoy being outside its too hot.
Plus, I cant sleep when its hot. I have horrible insomnia all summer long.

I used to really hate the heatwaves but since buying a portable airconditioning unit, I’ve been fine. I just stand over it with my shirt open Lol!
Have a great weekend!

I like warmer temperatures, but not hot. In New York a lot of the older houses, like ours, do not have central air. Window AC units help, but do not really cut it when the temperature and humidity get bad. I prefer 70s for the high and cooler at night to keep the house comfortable.
