Wordless Wednesday – Blast from the past and a favorite memory

Not so Wordless Wednesday!

It was a lazy, kick-back day and we stayed home trying to keep warm. I had a lot of time to think about different things. I found myself going through old photos and thinking about Britt. This photo is from the summer of 1994. Brian and Britt attended EFY together in Logan, Utah. They had a blast meeting new friends and learning from great youth leaders. Brian is the best big brother. He was always watching out for Britt and Todd. And Britt was the perfect little sister … always in Brian’s business. Ha! She took her responsibility of being Todd’s big sister probably more seriously than he would have liked. The morning of Todd’s first day of high school, the cheer leaders were in front of the school greeting the freshman class and guiding them to their classes. Britt, in full uniform, saw her little brother amongst his friends and bounced right on over to introduce herself and extend a warm welcome. I miss her so very much.
