I’d like to claim that I’m one of the most organized people on the planet. But … I might be lying. Not for a lack of trying. I truly do try. (Not to lie! To be organized!) I just seem to most often fall short. So, as with many years past, one of my new year’s resolutions/goals is to be more organized. You know, house in order, always knowing where everything is, no clutter … yep, that. This week we’re organizing with Pinterest. From closet to computer desk tops and everything in between!

I remember the hectic fun-filled days of keeping all my kids on their individual schedules while making family time a priority. I had a planner book that my kids called my brain. They could usually locate it quicker than I could! I’m loving the Revamped Family Chalkboard Central Command Center from Jenna at SAS Interiors. This is brilliant for all busy families. So brilliant she was actually featured in Better Homes & Gardens. How cool is that?

I am horrible at keeping my closet organized. Absolutely horrible! Some clothes are lucky to find their hanger. And I have awesome padded hangers too. NY is the best at closets and he spends time in mine every time he brings up clothes from the laundry room. He’s a keeper I tell you!! He hangs my clothes by color and type. Yep! So needless to say, I’m a bit over the moon for this excellent Organized Closet infographic from Red Envelope.

We do everything from coking/baking and eating to game playing and homework in our kitchen. To make things run smooth there has to be organization which is why I’m loving Ann’s How to Organize Your Baking Zone post from On Sutton Place. Her blog is gorgeous!
