Today we have a quick tutorial for easy DIY 4th of July Patriotic Candles.
In less than ten minutes you can have festive candles for your celebration table, mantle or anywhere else you want to spread the patriotic cheer!
Supplies:
- Two candles – I bought several boxes of red candles for less than $3.00 at an after Christmas sale
- Twine – approximately 18 inches depending on the size of your candles
- Scrapbook paper or wrapping paper of your choice or our patriotic printable sheets. Red & White Stripes and Navy with Stars.
Cut the paper 1 to 2 inches wide. The length needs to over-lap when wrapped around the candle.
Simply wrap the paper around the candle.
And wrap the twine over the paper three times.
Tie twine into a square knot and trim ends to desired length. That’s it!
Cheers to a Happy 4th of July!!

So simple Debra! It literally takes less than 5 minutes to make a set. It was a last minute idea I had for a gift. I was thrilled with the result.
