When I was flying back and forth from Los Angeles to Miami, I’d take time to walk along the beach to collect Florida sea shells for Cathi. She was home in California where, at the time, it was cold and rainy. She keeps the shells in the ensuite by her bath where she can see them each and everyday.

Beautiful! My mom does the same thing — she wishes she lived at the beach so she keeps a bowl of beautiful shells in her bathroom and they make her happy.

That’s so sweet! There’s something about shells that makes you want to keep them, we have a collection that we keep in jars and vases in our bathroom and one tall vase by our living room window. The kids love collecting them and we keep them as memories from which beach we picked them up at.
Cathi says
That’s a good idea Bernadyn! Like a shell scrapbook.

Pretty! I don’t ever find shells on the Delaware beaches.
Cathi says
Thanks Aquariann! No shells in Delaware? That’s curious. I thought they were anywhere near the ocean. That must make for an interesting beach though!

Sea shells kind of brings a nostalgic feeling to the place! They look fresh and lovely too! (Btw, thanks for linking up with me! See you again next week?) 😉
Cathi says
Thanks so much Janice! The nice thing about sea shells is they’re from nature but we don’t have to preserve them.
