The temperature has been in the triple digits this week. It’s way too hot for me! I’ve never been a fan of extreme heat and do my best to avoid/distract myself from it. So I’ve been keeping myself busy with Summer Fun on Pinterest!

I love anything that’s falls in the country distressed category. And I’m over the moon about making these Paint Washed Pots.
These free or low cost Boredom Busters for Kids are as easy as taking the kids to your local Apple Store for a free three-day Apple Camp. Children ages 8 to 12 will learn to film and edit a featurette using iMovie. That is just one of the fabulous boredom busters from Woman’s Day. There are building workshops, wilderness and sports programs and so much more!
I can’t wait to do this with my grandkids! The tutorial for How To Tie Dye A Shirt is fail proof. And it doesn’t have to be a t-shirt. I see my grand-daughter wearing a ‘groovy’ tie dyed sundress to school is a few weeks. This is totally bringing back my high school days!

Thanks Melissa!! I too am in love with those painted pots! We have an upcoming wedding reception in our backyard and I’m going to scatter those pots all around!
For the last few summers we’ve had our grand-daughter stay with us the week her brothers and mom go to camp. We would host our own little ‘Kamp Kennedy’. Your ‘Sumer Camp at Home’ ideas are over the top perfect for ‘Kamp Kennedy’ and every other week of the year! 😉
