Summer for our family means ice cold drinks, frozen treats, road trips, picnics, backyard barbecues, camping and family reunions. That’s also summertime on Pinterest!

Nothing says summer like fruity frozen treats! Healthy natural ingredients are a must. I can’t wait to make these delightful Blueberry and Orange Icy Pops from Two Loves Studio.

How about a last-minute 4th of July activity for everyone? With just a few supplies you probably already have in your house you can make these fun & patriotic Confetti Launchers from Piikea. Change the wrappers and celebrate birthdays too!

I love everything about this Favorite Jeans and a Tee. I’m a blue jeans gal at heart and prefer white tops to all others. It’s a perfect fit for me via Polyvore.

We’re always looking for new things to do during the summer. We like to take advantage of the warm weather and time with family while the grands are out of school. Now is the perfect time to create memories with this Fun Summer Activities Checklist from Real Simple. I know our grandson (who is now 14-years old) will always remember camping in Yosemite National Park when he was just a little guy. Camping in Yosemite was a family tradition when his father was growing up!

Summer means barbecues and hamburgers. So as a vegetarian, I’m always on the lookout for healthy protein filled burgers without meat. I’m over the top excited about the Veggie Burgers with Pomegranate Ketchup from Food & Wine magazine. I can’t go wrong with a delicious burger made with mushrooms, edamame, almonds and couscous!

Do you have a bucket list? Mine is on Pinterest. I like having gorgeous images of what I’d like to do, see and accomplish in my life. Seeing Lake Nelson which holds the title of the world’s clearest lake is one reason why this lake in New Zealand is on my bucket list.

Watermelon is a summertime treat. You’ll find it at nearly all of our family summer gatherings. How clever are these Watermelon Pops? Easy and fun for everyone to eat especially the littles!

I had no idea the Orange County Model Engineers Club even existed. It’s a non-profit organization that operates a 7 1/2″ gauge railroad at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa, CA, on the third Saturday and following Sunday of each month. Times are from 10 am until 3:30 pm. Fun for the whole family and especially train buffs.

I am absolutely over the moon for this gorgeous Secret Sanctuary backyard swimming pool. Secluded as if in a wooded wilderness, it’s one of 17 luxurious lap pools from HGTV Gardens. Just look for number 16!!

Pasta. It’s an easy go-to meal at our house. And this Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic, Herbs and Parmesan from Simply Recipes has my mouth-watering!
