~ Intricate Shanghai Architecture
Architecture is unique to most locals across the world. It doesn’t even have to be across the world. Architecture on the east coast of the US can sometimes be much different than that on the west coast. Cultures, like locations, differ and lend personality to architectural styles. Older buildings in older cities preserve various and varied styles. Shanghai is a testament to ancient culture evidenced in architecture. Intricate work from a bygone era survives in this ages old city. Beautiful architecture that seems to come alive. Especially so in the beautiful Yu Garden.

Such detail – I would love to tour such a building inside and out to see the entire thing. I bet it’s just as grand in every aspect.
