I love celebrating America! I love the patriotic holidays which seem to span the whole summer season. The red, white and blue decorations go up in May and don’t come down until after Labor Day. I love both fancy and simple decorations. Our Printable Patriotic Bunting is easy peasy. You can hang it up within 15 minutes, start to finish. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
With our printable flags and a few household items, you can get your patriotic craft on, all while celebrating America!
Supplies:
Red and White Chevron Printable (there are 2 to a page)
Red and Blue Stars Printable (there are 2 to a page)
5 feet Twine, Baker’s String or Ribbon (affiliate links) which holds 7-8 flags.
Tape or glue
- After you have printed out the bunting flags, fold the top over your string. (This is easier than trying to thread the string through the finished pocket. Do not crease the fold. Tape or glue, forming the pocket.
- Tie a loop at each end of your string and display.
Wishing you a happy red, white and blue!!

I love the pattern, it’s very striking and patriotic. I love how simple (and yet cool looking) it is too.

I love how simple this is to make. I love making 4th of July type projects. They’re always lots of fun to make.
