Our kitchen is always full of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as juices. I personally love the beautiful variety of colors of foods and juices. The gorgeous purple of Welch’s Grape Juice reminds me to think purple, rather than red, during February for American Heart Month. The whole food plant-based diet we’ve adopted has greatly improved our health. Eating out less often and avoiding fast food is also a plus. Additionally we feel better when eating healthy foods. That’s one of the reasons we’re happy to partner with Welch’s 100% Grape Juice.
Using Welch’s 100% Grape Juice in smoothies is something we often do, but we wanted to step it up a bit. Thinking of other ways to enjoy the grape juice goodness got our creative juices flowing. Our grandkids love gummy snacks, and that led to the creation of this healthy homemade gummy snacks vegan friendly recipe! It can be enjoyed by the entire family. These grape juice gummy snacks are great to eat at home or easy to grab and go. There are no preservatives or the added sugars that are found in most commercial treats. Because we eat a whole food plant based diet, we avoid traditional gelatin because of the ingredients.
