This week my family (including the grands) and I met up with Kailani and her family (including her sweet sister and nephew) at Disneyland. We had a wonderful time. The kids were able to get to know each other as they swam at the hotel and enjoyed the magic of Disneyland and California Adventure Park. It was the first time the kids actually met face to face and not through photos on our blogs and Facebook. It had been almost a year since I last met up with Kailani. We roomed together at BlogHer11 in San Diego and before that BlogHer10 in NYC. But when we met in the hallway at our hotel it was if we had just had lunch together a week or so ago.
Do you have friends that you can go months or years without seeing and when you do get together, it seems as if it were just yesterday that you met for lunch?

Oh how fun!! Yes, I do have friends that I don’t get to see hardly at all, but when we do get together it’s like no time has passed at all – even if it’s been years. 🙂

I just met my old friend from 30 yrs. ago and we cried when we saw each other. Seems she heard I died in a car accident & she even mourned me & then she found out I was a live from my cousin and she hooked us up together again and we cried like babies and talked for hours. It was great.

What a fun trip for you guys! Yes, we have some couple friends that we used to run around with right after high school and in the early years of our marriage. We don’t get to see each other often now but when we do it’s easy to pick right up and have a great time.
