From Kailani at An Island Life: In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So on Fridays let’s take it easy on posting, too. Ask a simple question … nothing that requires a lengthy response. It’s a great way to make new blogging friends!

Easter is a special holiday at our house. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ by attending Church and afterwards returning home to a big ham dinner with family. It’s also a day to wear new Easter outfits. The beginning of spring and summer with bright happy colors. Over the years I’ve traditionally made new Easter outfits for the kids to wear.

Easter 1981, 1982, 1983 and 2003
Do you celebrate Easter? Do you celebrate a different holiday? How about new Easter/spring/summer clothes? Do you celebrate with new clothes?

I’m a big fan of Instagram on my cell phone. I’m even participating in the Photo a Day project and having a lot of fun with it.

With Instagram I get to choose the effect I want with the different filters that are available. And most importantly I don’t have to post my location. Sometimes I choose to but most often I don’t.
How about you? Do you use Instagram or any other photo app on your cell phone? (I’m “SimplyCathi” on Instagram if you’d like to follow me) Do you use a geo tagged/location app?

NY has a bit of an obcession with clocks. Because of his relationship with clocks we have them in almost every room of the house, including in the toy closet, bathrooms and garage. Last weekend, with the change to Daylight Savings, it was very apparent just how many clocks we have. In fact, only one out of the 25 plus clocks is a self setting, atomic clock. That means at least 24 … give or take … had to ‘spring ahead’ with our help. Oh, and then there are the clocks in each of the cars. hehe

So, how many clocks do you have?

We’ve had the grands staying at our house for the last few days (and nights). It’s been quite a few years since we’ve had to get kids up, showered, fed and to school on time. Between schedules and homework the fun has been taken a wee bit out of grand parenting. So has the sleep! I’m exhausted! I’m ready to hit the snooze button in the morning. I usually get by on eight hours of sleep but my body (or my mind) is wanting more.
How about you? How many hours of sleep do you need every night?
