This glass chandelier extends from the lobby to the top floor of the Occidental Miguel Angel Hotel in Madrid, Spain. In this photo, the entire chandelier isn't visible because I took it from the fifth floor looking up to the highest level (which I think is the 12th floor). In 1993 our family went on holiday to Yosemite National Park. My oldest son Brian, hiked up to Half Dome. He was sixteen years old and took risks that should of put me in the nut house many times over. San Francisco – Day 7 – Alcatraz Island
Yesterday when we bought our tickets to Alcatraz Island it was a lovely sunny day. San Francisco – Day 5 – The Exploratorium
Today we spent the entire day at the Exploratorium. This is a fantastic learning experience for children and adults too. When you do go plan on the entire day especially if you plan to bring a lunch. I believe you must eat your own food outside however there is a delightful cafe inside that sells healthy food along with hotdogs and pizza. Be ready to pay outrageous prices though.
