We’ve always used olive oil when cooking. NY even makes his own olive oil and vinegar salad dressing. Today we cooked our vegetables in coconut oil.
We simply washed and sliced our favorite fresh vegetables and sauteed them until they were cooked through. We like the mild flavor of the coconut oil and how some the veggies were crispy.
How about you? What kind of oil do you use to cook with?

Olive Oil….hm, is it really a strong coconut flavor, as I’m not a huge fan of it normally?

I normally use sunflower oil, but coconut oil sounds like a nice alternative, especially for stir frys!

I keep hearing about coconut oil! I need to give it a try.
I’m curious: Did it make your vegetables taste coconut-y?
