The Chiropractor.

I haven’t always been a fan but I have a sciatic nerve that knocks my right leg totally out of commission. Like pain up my lower right back and all the way down my leg can hardly walk out of commission.  I’ve learned over the years that the chiropractor is the only thing/person that can help. I’ve also heard lots of stories about other so called miracles (fixing my leg is nothing short of a miracle to me … LOL) the chiroprator can produce. So this week after going to the doctor and the ER (twice), having x-rays, blood work, CT scan, ultra sound and more, I went to the chiropractor for some relief of the pain in my pain that was radiating to my back.

It helped! Seems it was all because my sciatic nerve. I go again today and I’m hoping this will be the final visit for at least a year or until my leg goes out again.

I am totally mesmerized with paddle wheels on riverboats. Totally. The splashing of the wheel as it goes round and round and in and out of the water draws me in like the ebb of the ocean tide. I captured this shot of the Mark Twain Riverboat at Disneyland from Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.

Here in Southern California it has been getting very warm. I consider it down right hot. While NY likes the heat … I don’t. At all. I don’t function well when I’m hot and I don’t feel well either. Never have. I might feel different if I lived on the beach or in the mountains on a lake. You know, with a nice cool breeze. But I don’t. So, I’m not looking forward to summer. I’m not looking forward to summer at all.

How about you? Do you like the heat of summer?

I love Disney and a good laugh. Laughing and Disney make life perfect!
