Our kids and grandkids have been attending different types of camps at various times over the past 30 years. From Scout and sports camps to dance and engineering camps, the kids have learned and grown in ways that weren’t always possible at home. Right now we’re excited about planning summer camps for our grandkids. We’ve discovered the options with iD Tech Mini Summer Camps are awesome! And the UC Irvine Campus is just ‘over the hill’ from us.
After all, it’s never too early to dream BIG! Kids ages 6 to 9 will have a blast at iD Tech Mini. Half day options and mini prices let aspiring innovators try multiple courses and discover a love for tech. With an emphasis on creativity, exploration, and friendship, this brand new summer camp experience offers nurturing, personalized instruction and lots of project-based discovery. Campers learn hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills, along with engineering principles, spatial reasoning, programming concepts, and problem-solving skills. At the iD Tech Mini Maker Station, kids can explore hands-on toys and technologies that go beyond the core curriculum. Campers make new friends and gain experience with Minecraft, coding, Photoshop, robotics, and more. Courses include: Junior/Master Programmer, Junior/Master Robotics Engineer, Junior/Master Minecraft Game Designer, Junior/Master Adobe Photoshop Designer. Mini ages. Mini price. Mini commute. HUGE fun!
Locations include University High School, Caltech, and select campuses nationwide. The location page on the iD Tech Mini website is user friendly and easy to use. I consider that a major plus!
Even though our oldest grandson, Austin, is involved in high school wrestling and will be attending sports camp, he recently expressed a desire to study photo journalism as a career. We’re thinking the Web Design & Photography camp would be fun and beneficial for him. Our grandson, Cody, is our imaginative gamer. He would love, absolutely love, the Game Design & Development camp.
How about you? Do you know of a child who would love to attend an iD Tech Mini camp? We have an awesome discount code to help make dreams come true!!

Wish I could have gone to a camp like this 50 years ago.
