While recently visiting Conejo Valley in Southern California, we discovered a most delicious and delightful restaurant: JOi Café
JOi Café is my new favorite place to eat. It totally caters to our way of eating. The menu has a vast selection of delectable organic, plant-based, and gluten-free dishes.
Not only is the food delicious, but it’s gorgeous, too. These Super Food Pancakes are made with chia, flax, hemp seed & banana, all topped off with fresh fruit and pure maple syrup. I had them for breakfast … two days in a row! They’re that good!
David picked Sausage and Hash (meatless): A full plate of two breakfast black bean lentil sausages and sweet potato and veggie hash. You have your choice of toast or a superfood pancake to compliment your meal.
We both enjoyed JOi ‘s beautiful Avocado Toast: Toasted bread topped with fresh avocado, kale pesto, purple cabbage, micro greens, pumpkin seeds and sprinkled with sumac. It’s served with hummus and a squeeze of lime. Absolutely delicious!
It’s all gorgeous food, I tell you! Healthy and tasty, too!
JOi Café is all about helping people eat healthy by preparing raw organic food that’s natural and good for them. We’ve learned firsthand what eating real pure food can do for our health. Cheers to Joi and her team for making a difference!
I love everything about the unique, one-of-a-kind JOi Café. It’s small, with a helpful and extremely friendly staff and clientele, and offers indoor and sidewalk seating. Parking is handy, but can be busy at certain times with the adjoining shops where JOi’s located.
David says: Everything we ordered tasted so good. Healthy, colorful and delicious.
Cathi says: Absolutely my new favorite restaurant. I wish there was one near us. I would love to try every single menu item including every flavor of their fresh smoothies!
