We’re honored to be part of the 2019 Knott’s Berry Farm #BerryBloggers Ambassador program. This blog post is part of our partnership with Knott’s Berry Farm.
Knott’s Berry Farm’s PEANUTS Celebration has something for every one of all ages. It’s weekends January 26 through March 10, plus Feb 11, 15 & 18. We’d like to specifically share our thoughts and experiences about Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration for teens.
David and I grew up with Charles Schulz and the PEANUTS gang. I remember Saturday morning cartoons watching Charlie Brown and the whole gang. I wished that Snoopy was my dog and that I could play the piano just like Schroeder.
Fast forward ahead. After sharing PEANUTS with our children, we’re now sharing PEANUTS with our grandchildren. Even though they’re teenagers, we’re not at all surprised that they love PEANUTS just as much as we do.
Knott’s is chalk full of thrilling coasters and rides that most teenagers seem to love. But the PEANUTS Celebration adds to the excitement of visiting Knott’s Berry Farm with exceptional photo opportunities, amazing food choices, and delightful entertainment. The PEANUTS Celebration brings back fond memories for us and provides experiences for our teen grands to create memories of their own. So much so that they want to visit Knott’s again and again.
As soon as you step foot through the gates you’ll see the cutest PEANUTS photo back drops. Our teen grandkids had the best time posing and having fun with each other. And guess what? Grandma and Grandpa got in on the fun too!
Knott’s has come up with very clever PEANUTS quotes that are a perfect fit for teens. Ours got the biggest kick out of them. And they were more than eager to go along with the fun.
Kennedy will be the first to admit there are indeed times when she can be crabby! And Cody … he’ll jump at the chance to tell you, at times, he thinks his sister can be a block head. Ha! But, no mistake about it, Cody and Kennedy are really the best of friends!
You’ll find the fun quotes throughout Camp Snoopy. You can also catch the brand new Space Beagle show at the Camp Snoopy Theatre.
Besides the clever photo backdrops and “quote” opportunities, Knott’s Boardwalk is filled with brightly colored balloons. They’re delightfully fun and also make for festive photo ops.
We think everyone will agree that nearly every teenager likes to eat. A lot! Our teens are no exception. And they absolutely love the food at Knott’s Berry Farm. They were both thrilled with the special PEANUTS Celebration offerings. Knott’s knew exactly how to gear these PEANUTS specialties to teens (and everyone else, of course!).
Smack in the middle of Boardwalk is Coasters Drive-In. It’s a teen favorite because of the burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, french fries and extra-thick milkshakes (just to name a few).
For the PEANUTS Celebration Cody ordered The Patty Melt (in honor of none other than Peppermint Patty!). The Patty Melt is delicious with traditional French fries on the side. A teen favorite for sure!
Another favorite for teens is Lucy’s Angry Waa Waa Waa Buffalo Chicken Fries available at most of the Fry locations throughout the park. These fries are loaded with fries, buffalo chicken, and cheddar cheese. I’ve yet to encounter a teenager that doesn’t love pizza. What do you think of this loaded Beagle’s Meat Lovers Pizza? It’s a meal in itself! Find it at Beachy Keen’s Pizza on the Boardwalk, and Sutter’s Pizza near the from gate!
And the delicious food doesn’t stop at savory! There are plenty of sweets to choose from, too.
Don’t miss out on the adorable and delectable Charlie Brownies.
And how about a Jelly Filled Peanut Butter Mini Bundt Cake? Both can be found at the Ghost Town Bakery and Grand Bakery.
And these colorful rainbow-colored Fruit Loop Bars? Grab yours in Camp Snoopy at Grizzly Creek Lodge.
All these delicious treats, both sweet and savory, are just a small sampling of what you’ll find during the PEANUTS Celebration!
Not to be missed are the kites throughout the park. Just look up and you’ll see colorful kites in the trees. Our teens had the best time searching and spotting all the PEANUTS kites lost in the trees throughout the park. The whole family did. Each kite represents a member of the PEANUTS gang. We had the best time seeing who could find a kite for each each of the PEANUTS characters.
Oh! And one more thing… YOU and your teens do not want to miss Spike’s Discoteca De Silencio in Fiesta Village!! It’s a hit with kids of all ages, including Grandma and Grandpa.

Can you figure out what song we’re rocking out to? So. Much. FUN!!
Everyone who joins the “silent” dance party is issued a pair of awesome headphones (that are sanitized after each use). The headphones are color coded so those wearing the same color hear the same songs. There are three different colors of headsets with three different sets of songs. So the person dancing right next to you that has a different color headphone will not have the same beat as you. It makes it all the more fun! AND … watching from the sidelines … as a spectator sport … is entertainment PLUS! It has to be seen to be believed!
So, what do you think the teens in your life will want to do first? Are they into photo op selfies? Are they all about the delicious food (like our Kennedy!)? Or, are they going to dance the night away?
David says: The silent disco is so much fun! It’s entertaining for teens and all ages. To watch an entire dancefloor of people dancing to different music is priceless! Especially since those just watching are NOT hearing the music. The different food offerings are fun and so good. The Knott’s chefs and food and beverage staff are always creating new and interesting dishes and treats. A good time was had by all.
Cathi says: I had the best time watching the grandkids having fun with the different photo back drops. I’d like to say I was amazed at all the food they enjoyed but it didn’t surprise me one bit. I was surprised at how much I ate though. Ha!
Cody says: My favorite activity is the PEANUTS Sketch School. I didn’t think I’d be able to draw a cartoon but I did and it was fun. The fact that it was in the Bird Cage Theatre was an extra bonus!
Kennedy says: I liked spending the night at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel where I knew I was close to the park and could be one of the first people in the gates for the PEANUTS Celebration. I also liked all the PEANUTS food. Especially the Fruit Loop Bars!
