LifeStraw Go Personal Water Filters
We love to travel. We love to visit other countries learning of their local cultures and we love road trips in the United States. We also like to be prepared when we travel. A few years back we visited a country during our Thanksgiving holiday. At the time, I was newly vegetarian and none of the local food was appealing to me let alone the water. Needless to say, I lost weight during that vacation. I wish we would have known about LifeStraw Go during that memorable holiday.
We also make it a habit to be prepared for emergencies at our house. Be it a natural disaster such as an earthquake, hurricane or even a fire on the nearby mountain range, we want to be prepared in case of a home evacuation or a chance of being confined to our home. That’s why we keep emergency supplies in our home and carry emergency backpacks in our cars. The latest addition to our emergency supplies is the LifeStraw Go.
LifeStraw makes contaminated water safe!
The award-winning LifeStraw technology was originally introduced in 2005 as an emergency response tool to filter water often contaminated following natural disasters. Today, LifeStraw is used in water filtration products around the world.

LifeStraw also has an incredible lifesaving program for children in developing countries. And I truly believe it is indeed lifesaving. The Follow The Liters campaign gives everyday people an opportunity to help solve one of the world’s most pressing issues – lack of access to safe drinking water for people in developing countries. When a you purchase any LifeStraw water filter, a portion of the funds are used to provide one school child in Africa with safe drinking water for an entire school year. Yes, an entire school year!
‘A Day in the Life of Violet’ is an adorable animated story that’s easy for children to understand the need to help children in other countries.
