There is something about egrets. Can’t quite put a finger on it, but I love to watch them walk about on their long legs as they poke around for something to eat.
When we lived in Florida there was a plethora of egrets foraging along the banks of our lakefront.
Now, back in California, we enjoy observing the antics of the Safari Park egrets.

Oh we used to see those ALL the time! It seems like as more and more has been built up, the construction has driven them away some. But I still see them in the ditches every now and then.
