I love Halloween! Halloween decorations at our house rival Christmas decorations.
Our grandchildren have decided what they want to be and I’m happily sewing Halloween costumes. The photo show the makings of three costumes. Can you guess what they are? One of them is very obvious. Actually the other two aren’t too hard to figure out either. 🙂
How about you?
Are your Halloween costumes decided upon and ready to go?
Mom's Place says
All 4 of my girls had to decided what their costume is. They all have tutu's that I have made, all different colors. One is going as a flower (only need to color her old too short leggings green for her stem), one is a blue butterfly, one is double trouble (1/2 angel 1/2 devil – too fitting for her!), and my oldest is going to be a fairy.
My son was going to wear the same costume that my oldest daughter wore her first year, however the little bugger is getting to big! I picked up 2 Carter's jammie type outfits. One is a scarecrow, the other is a football player…not loving the football player so much, so I think I'm taking that one back.

Looks like a costume for a Part Werewolf, vampire Dorthy LOL 🙂
Actually, we don't celebrate halloween..but the costumes are so much fun. I usually buy my kids some to play in 🙂

Thankfully my boys are too old to go trick or treating. We have not had to worry about costumes for years.

I'm always a witch, son is thinking of being the grim reaper & daughter can't make up her mind between a witch, cowgirl or hannah montana.

Good question! I asked the same one. 😉
We do have the girls' costumes set – you can see a sneak peek at my site. 🙂

My kids have ideas, but I haven't started to realize their dreams yet. It's probably time to get on it.

Yes they are. My 2 yr old daughter is going to be Minnie Mouse, my 6 yr old son is going to be a Clone Trooper from Star Wars and my 13 yr old daughter is going out as a punk rocker.

Yes! We went to Joanne Fabrics yesterday to get the last of what Megan needs for the costume she designed herself.
Katherine wants to be a Disco Queen so we are working on that one.
Mom's Place says
Alright….Dorothy, a vampire….and either a warewolf or Toto!
TheAngelForever says
Looks like Dorothy and possibly a werewolf of some kind.
Yes, I believe we are all set on costumes. Oldest son bought one and it fits. Now to find and clean the one to make sure it fits the little guy.

I just made my daughter's Smurfette costume and I still need to work on my son's Aang the Avatar costume.

no – and I dont think we'll be doing them this year. I know I sound like such a party pooper – but we will be traveling teh day & night of halloween, so I am thinking of just having the kdis wear halloween t-shirts from old navy or something. they are young – all 3 and under – so I dont think they will mind 🙂

I don't have my son on Halloween; his dad gets to take him out this year. 🙁 I'm bummed because I love picking out costumes with him and taking him out in the neighborhood. This may be the last year he wants to do it since he's getting older.
mommablogsalot says
I'm gonna guess Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, a vampire and… a werewolf?
mommablogsalot says
Oh right and your question – haha – my costumes are decided and ready, hanging in the closet. We didn't make them this year but we did last year and it came out great. Just not enough time, energy this year with the new baby.
Mommy Reporter says
I bought my little one's costume from the thrift store. He will be a little bug… the costume was very cute and looked brand new!!
blueviolet says
There won't be any costumes this year since the kids are too big.
Annie says
yup! Lizzie Lou is going to be a fairy princess and Bubs is going to be a puppy dog! I just have to make Bub's ears and then we are done!
Angela says

Yup, Girlie Girl will be a Dragon Ninja and Baby Bug will be Abby Cadabby. We also have some that I recently reviewed in case they change their minds.
