Butterfly Jungle
I just can't get over how gorgeous the butterflies are in the San Diego Safari Park's Butterfly Jungle. The butterfly on my hand is a Blue Morpho. This is the underside of his wings. When his wings are open the topside is a beautiful cornflower blue. This little guy has had some rough times. It looks as if the bottom edge of his wings have taken quite a beating. Isn't this covered patio gorgeous? I would love to say it's in our backyard but it's not. This gorgeous patio can be found at the San Diego Safari Park's Mombasa Cooker. I would love to have gorgeous flowers growing all about our patio covering however ... I am allergic to bees. And sadly, these lovely flowers attract a whole lot of bees.
