My daughter-in-law once told me that I was the only lady she knew whose favorite store was Home Depot. Lowes is right up there with Home Depot!!!
Today we went to Lowes to buy a piece of rain gutter. I’m going to cut it into smaller pieces and mount it on the wall of my sewing room to hold spools of ribbon. I’ll post photos of the finished project.
Do you see NY with the rain gutter?
Do you see what else is on the cart?!?
Oh. My. Gosh! Isn’t it beautiful?
We’ve needed a tool box for several years but I haven’t wanted to spend the money. Today we found this tool box at Lowes. The base box was $84 and the top was only $40.
Our lovely new tool box doesn’t have a refrigerator. It doesn’t have a built-in stereo system. The drawers didn’t come lined. (I lined them) It also didn’t cost a $1,000 It’s a tool box and that is exactly what we wanted. Hooray Task Force from Lowes!

Ok, the tool box doesn't rock my boat, but I LOVE the rain gutter idea for my ribbon! That is super!

you will die to know I have like 4 tool boxes, the best is a big snap on one. funny, huh? Well with the auto body industry and painting bicycles we collected a lot of tools. I am selling lots on ebay now. I want to see the raingutter idea. I have been making a lot of projects and have so much ribbon and I think your idea is better than the boxes I have. You have always been so creative….I am happy for you and your tool box. You will be glad you lined it! Nutzo
