Next week we’ll finish serving as Church Service Missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at our local LDS Bishops’ Storehouse/Home Storage Center. We’ve been volunteering there three days a week for the past 18 months as managers of the Home Storage Center and assistant managers of the Bishops’ Storehouse. Our lives revolved around the wonderfully uplifting service we were blessed to take part in. But now we’re entering a new chapter. It’s bittersweet to be leaving but we’re excited about what the future has in store. For that reason I’m excited about what I found this week on Pinterest!

In May I’ll be attending Bloggy Boot Camp. I’m over the top excited about attending a conference not far from where I live. Even though I won’t be traveling very far this time, I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect travel rolling laptop case for quite some time. I think I’ve finally found it with the Nicole Lee ‘Cheri’ rolling laptop tote. It seems perfect!

The weather has already started to warm up in Southern California. It’s time to think about refreshing and healthy treats like Kelly’s easy peach frozen yogurt recipe. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!

If you know me at all, you know that I loathe shopping. Shopping of any kind. Even going to the market for groceries. So I’m mighty impressed with Abby’s Organized Shopping List. It can help make my trips to the market enjoyable right down to the menu planning.

There’s something about a good porch that can melt my heart. I love our porch. The stone bench and the red doors but who doesn’t dream of a gorgeous wrap around porch?

I can think of so many family members, friends (and perhaps a stranger or two!) that I want to gift with Heather’s delight Orange You Glad It’s Friday? gift. How about you? Do you know anyone who would enjoy a sweet gift of oranges?

When I was younger, I wore 4 & 5 inch heels and platform shoes. Even my sneakers had platforms! Nowadays I only wear heels with an inch or two height, and that’s only on Sundays or dress up days. Ha! I’m all about comfort … and shoes I won’t fall over in! My all time favorite brand is FitFlop. They have great arch support and even add an inch to my five foot frame. I wear FitFlop sandals around the house, but I’m thinking this is the weekend to slip my feet into a cozy pair of Cuddler SnugMoc Slippers. Warm, comfortable and cute. What more could a girl want?

NY (aka David) and I love to entertain. While we haven’t had the time as of late, we already have plans for a few dinner parties in the future. I love Elise’s Raspberry Cheesecake in Mason Jars recipe. Delectable, easy and fun to serve. And you get your mason jar back! Shhh… I didn’t really say that, did I?

We love to travel. And we have photos to document where we’ve been. But I love the idea of Stitching the Places I’ve been on a map. This would be a great project for children, too. The kit is available through A Beautiful Mess Happy Mail.

Along the far edge of our driveway is a small strip of lawn that never looks like it’s enjoying life. The sprinklers don’t seem to give it as much water as it needs. I’m thinking the entire strip would look lovely covered with drought resistant Blanket Flowers. It’s the perfect solution!

That rolling lap top looks like it is a great size, very practical and could hold everything I need with space to spare
