Last night was our traditional annual Trunk and Treat at church. The kids and grands came over for dinner before we attended the festivities.
The grands decorated cupcakes in preparation of the upcoming sugar attack of treats!
Princess Kennedy dressed in the pumpkin costume originally made for Britt in 1981. She also found the bowl of candy for trick or treaters of treats. We’re not quite sure how much she ate but she wasn’t interested in dinner. Ha!
Cody was awesome as Leonardo the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle in the costume Austin wore in 2004.
Austin was very serious about his Obi-wan Kenobi costume. He critiqued it all the way through the construction process. *wink*
Kennedy wasn’t too sure about getting treats from the Good Witch.
Austin & Cody however were fearless!
Auntie Paula always has the best treats and the grands adore her!
Obi-wan Kenobi was checking out his bag of treats …
… while the Ninja Turtle practiced his ninja moves on the Pumpkin.
Kennedy spent most the night with a sucker in one hand and taffy in the other as she ran from trunk to trunk exclaiming, “I want candy”! But who could resist a sweet little pumpkin even if she was all sticky and gooey? Certainly not this Grandpa!
