I’m a bit stunned with how fast time is flying as of late. It seems like we just celebrated the new year and here we are planning Valentine’s Day! I’m loving all the fabulous and romantic ideas for Valentine’s Day on Pinterest. And I’m having a very good time decorating our house with pink and red … everywhere!

It’s party time! I’m loving everything about Anne’s Valentine’s Day Photo Poppers! They are simply fabulous! And there’s so much more on Flax & Twine! Anne also shows how to make heart confetti and the sweetest little photo banner.

I have a teenage grandson who is famous for sneaking my Tic Tacs. I’m constantly reaching for the tiny mints and finding an empty container in my handbag. Can you guess what he’s getting for Valentine’s Day? You betcha! These Tic Tac Valentine Printables from Somewhat Simple are fun and perfect for our sneaky teen!

How fun are these Hugs & Kisses Pancakes from Parents magazine? Everyone in our family is going to love them! David. And I will love pairing them with fresh berries and I know our grandkids will love them with their favorite pure maple syrup!

I think these little Magnifying Glass Valentines are simply awesome. Perfect for little boys (and girls) to receive! Don’t you think ? A big thank you to Danyelle at Dandee! I think a whole lot of boys will be more excited on Valentine’s Day and not think it’s a fun day just for girls!

I am over the moon for the ”52 Reasons I Love You” Cards Tutorial from Lowri at PaperVine. I love the distressed cards. I love the idea of giving David this fun and romantic gift. And guess what? I am! I just ordered the cards and labels and I can’t wait to start creating!!

Most likely everyone has a favorite decoration they go to again and again for all their favorite holidays. Mine is garland/banner. I love it in all forms. Especially the darling Valentine’s Day Garland from Better Homes and Gardens!

Well … it’s not really Valentine’s without some sweet treats. So how about this delicious Cherry Pound Cake Bread Pudding from Toni at Boulder Locavore? Pound cake cut into heart shapes, cinnamon, sweet cherries and so much more!

One of my favorite places in our home is sitting at the kitchen table. We have large windows that look out to our citrus trees … and our bird feeders. I love watching the comings and goings of our many and varied feathered friends. The interactions between them all is a delight. I know it won’t only be fun to create the Birdseed Biscuit from Spoonful, but the birds will love it too! Be sure to hang it where the birds can perch on a branch while snacking.

We get to have our grandkids with us all day today. I’m thinking we’ll build a crackling fire in the fireplace and take on a few of Brittany’s 12 Handmade Valentine’s Day Projects on The House That Lars Built. I think the grands would love #2, sending a heart attack through the mail to their maternal grandparents. And I know their Nana and Papa would be thrilled to open the gift. I’m crazy about #8, the oversized paper heart chain garland too. All 12 ideas are simply fabulous!

Are you a fan of gummy Swedish Fish? Do you know some one who is? I’m loving the Swedish Fish Valentine and Printable from Jessica at Dear Emmeline. Especially the chalkboard look of the tag!

I do not own a Silhouette machine but … my DIL does. And she’s going to have me ringing her this week to borrow it! NY and I are fans of snail mail, so when I saw this adorable Heart Notecard Set it immediately pulled on my heart strings. I’m loving the creative people at the Silhouette Blog!

We have an entire week to get our sweet on with 15 Valentine’s Day Treats from Kecia at Southern Girl Ramblings. And I think I’ll start today while the grands are spending the day with us. After all, that’s what grandma’s do, right? They create in the kitchen with the grandkids!
And if your family loves books, Lasso The Moon has a fabulous post featuring 100+ Valentine’s Day Books Recommended by Moms. Simply perfect for reading with the littles in your life!
So, are you as excited about Valentine’s Day as I am? What romantic plans do you have?
