This weekend I’m attending a Time Out For Women (TOFW) conference with my dear friend Diane and I’m over the top excited about it. Diane and I have been friends for almost 55 years. Wow! We’ve grown up together. We started kindergarten together. And we graduated from high school together. We’ve double dated, laughed and cried over boyfriends. Over the years our children, and now our grand-kids, have had jolly good times together. Diane introduced me to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. While her husbnd looked after their five children, Diane flew to California and stayed with me an entire week when Britt died. Diane is my dear, dear friend and we’re going to have another very special time together.
So, what to wear this weekend. Time Out For Women is not officially sponsored by the Church and is not taking place at church. TOFW will take place at a conference center where we’ll be dressing casual. For the record, I’m one who wears my Sunday best (which I consider to be a dress/skirt) when I attend church. But I’m a jeans gal at heart, so I’m happy about the casual attire. I think I’d like to take my usual worn blue jeans up a notch. How about black jeans, a white with black polka dot blouse and black ankle boots? I love the single key necklace, preferably with a 30 inch chain. I’m also a hoop earrings gal. Always have been. The silver Belargo Pavé hoops compliment the long necklace. I’m over the top in love with the black bowed Valentino handbag. We’re possibly looking at a rainy weekend, so the black with white polka dot sweater and polka dot umbrella might be a necessity. And the ruffles on the umbrella? You can’t go wrong with a little bit of ruffle!
Happy weekend everyone! Hope yours is going to be as good as ours!
