Our kids and grandkids have always been very creative. From making crafts, to building forts to almost whatever they could imagine. It’s a great way for kids to nourish their minds and hone their small motor movements. And, especially at this time of year … they’ll have adorable Halloween mummy craft to show.

List of Supplies:
- Cardstock paper β black or any dark colored cardstock paper
- Yarn β white colored yarn
- Scissors
- Pencil β for tracing the template
- Googly eyes
Directions:
1. Trace the pattern from our printable template on black cardstock paper with a pencil.
2. Use scissors to cut out the traced mummies.
3. Take the white yarn and glue its end to the top back of your mummy cutout.
4. Bring the glued yarn to the other side of the pattern. This will be the front side of the mummy. Start to wrap the yarn around the pattern. Keep space on the head part for the eyes.
5. Move the yarn downwards while wrapping it around the mummy. Wrap the hands, body and legs.
6. When done wrapping, bring the yarn to the back side of the mummy. Leave about an inch extra at the end, before trimming. Insert the remaining end through the wrapped yarns and apply a drop of glue to make sure that the wrapping is secured.
7. Glue googly eyes on the face of the mummy. Feel free to use two different sized eyes!
And there you have itβ¦
Easy peasy and oh so fun!
Happy Halloween!!
