I can’t live without parchment paper in the kitchen. My all-time favorite is Smartake Baking Sheets. They’re unbleached, non-toxic. and the 12×16 inch precut size is perfect for my needs.
David recently surprised me with this JeMarble Rolling Pin that’s been on my wish list. I absolutely love it! So much so that it’s now a go-to wedding gift. It’s made of easy to clean marble, with a marble stand/base. The smooth marble is perfect for rolling out dough of all kinds.
I am so impressed with this Motar and Pestle. I’ve found as vegans that we use twice to three times as many spices and herbs in our recipes. I toss them all in the pestle and grind them up together. Voila!
Huge kudos to everyone who can use a sharp knife to chop onions, etc., quickly without cutting fingers! Me? Nope! And that’s exactly why I can’t live without my Stainless Steel Chopper. It’s quick, easy to use and I can toss it in the dishwasher when I’m done.
I have several sets of measuring cups and spoons. My favorites easily nest within each other and are made from high-quality stainless steel. With this Accmor set you get both the cups and the spoons. There are five different measuring cups and six measuring spoons. The cups nest together and the spoons are narrow to fit in small jars. This delightful set is also engraved with metric measurements.
I use a lot of fresh lemon juice in my recipes. I couldn’t squeeze my lemons as easily and quickly as I do without my Enameled Aluminum Lemon Squeezer. It’s fabulous!
Another one of my favorite pantry items is Nielsen-Massey Pure Vanilla Bean Paste. I actually prefer it to real vanilla beans! Vanilla Bean Paste is easy to use, the taste is incredible, and it’s lovely to see in finished recipes.
I have a secret. I have an obsession with cookie cutters. I love rolling out sugar cookie dough and cutting shapes for holidays throughout the year, especially at Christmas time. This simple Holiday Cookie Cutter Set is made in the USA from the family owned Ann Clark Cookie Cutters.
The Lodge 12″ Cast Iron Skillet is my go-to pan for everything. Not only do I cook in it but I also bake cakes, casseroles and bread/rolls in it. It cleans up nicely and will be around a whole lot longer than me. I absolutely LOVE it!
My mother always used flour sack towels. And to be honest, I never understood why. I always had towels that quite frankly were only good for adding color to my kitchen. A few years back a friend gave me my first set of 100% flour-Sack Towels and I was so impressed that I don’t use anything else. I simply love them! This is my favorite set of 12 matching flour-sack towels that measure 28 x 28 inches each. They’re great for house-warming gifts too!
Happy Holidays and Happy shopping!

My daughter asked for kitchen supplies for Christmas. I love that she’s embracing cooking and baking, and want to encourage it. Even though she’s so little, I still think she’d get a kick out of many of these items.

What a great list! I did not know there was parchment paper that was raw and unrefined, that is what I am going with from now on!

I definitely need a compost bin. I keep thinking about it and not following through on the idea.
