This week I was flat on my back in bed for three days. Yesterday was my first day up and about. I feel much better but I sound a bit like a frog with a sniffy nose. So, needless to say, I’m a bit behind on my to-do list.
I did get two costumes cut out last night. One is for Kennedy and the other is for Cody. Can you guess what they’ll be tomorrow when they go to a Halloween party? How about you? Do you celebrate Halloween? Do you buy or make costumes? What is your family going to wear this year?
Oh! And you’re looking at the makings of Rapunzel and Sonic the Hedgehog!!

I think it is awesome that you make their costumes!! We celebrate… it is a kind of anniversary for my hubby and me! We met at a Halloween Costume Party 🙂
Vicki says
We don’t really celebrate Halloween since out kids are grown, but we do go trick or treating with the grandkids.

Halloween was never a big day for me. I will be giving out candy.

I was going to guess Rapunzel for the left one, but had no clue on the right…Sonic the Hedgehog will be so cute!
We don’t do Halloween big except for the kids. 🙂 I alternate between making and buying costumes – this year I’m modifying items I’ve purchased to create a Katniss Everdeen (Hunger Games) costume for Princess Nagger, and Little Dude will be dressing up in his 3D Lightning McQueen costume from last year (since it’s what he wants and will fit him better this year). 🙂

When my kids were young, and I had the time, I made costumes. Their grown now so, Halloween is just another day around here.

I kinda celebrate by handing out candy. I dont dress up tho.

I’m glad you’re feeling better, at least enough to be up and about for awhile! I’ve been in bed for the last couple of days, so I can relate >.<
My FAVORITE holiday is Halloween 🙂 My mom used to make all of our costumes growing up and I've never bought a costume in my adult life! I think it's just more fun making them ^.^
Happy Friday!

It’s great that you are making the kids their halloween costumes. We don’t celeberate Halloween so no costumes or treat for treating for them here.
Debra @ A Frugal Friend says
Can’t believe you are out of bed and sewing!!!

I like the kids dressing up and the candy but not the evil scary stuff.
I’m not buying anything…not sure what the boy will go as. Maybe dracula. He is already missing two front teeth 🙂
Glad you are feeling better.

We definitely celebrate Halloween. This is the holiday where I go all out with the decorations on the outside of the house, much more than at Christmas. I’m lucky to have the chance to review Halloween costumes on my blog so my daughter always has the latest costume to wear. This year I was debating whether or not to dress up at the door but I’ve decided I probably won’t. Maybe next year 🙂
Have a great Sunday!
