In the west London borough of Kensington (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea), on the corner of Collingham Road and Courtfield Gardens, stands St Jude’s Church.
Built in the late 1870’s, in gothic revival style, St Jude’s is occupied by St Mellitus College, a theological institute of learning, and a charity dedicated to the homeless.
The surrounding grounds and gardens, with age old trees, shrubs, and flowering plants, provide a welcoming green space enjoyed by area residents and passersby alike.

David, I love Gothic architecture. In downtown Knoxville there is an old Gothic style church. I’m sure I’ve shared it in the past, but I think I will look through my archives to share it again and who knows maybe when the weather improves I can photograph it again. Thanks for visiting and linking up with Curious as a Cath!
David says
Thanks, Cathy. Really like Gothic style too. Hope to see your old or new shots sometime soon. Wishing better weather for you also! And thanks for the linky.

I’ve been there, but never seen this church. The architecture is amazing – is it Gothic? Very nicely taken photo
David says
Thanks! Sorry you missed this one, E. But London has so much many great buildings and sights to see. I’m sure you got to see so many amazing places. No expert here, but it sure looks Gothic to me. Thanks again.
