In the west London borough of Kensington (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea), on the corner of Collingham Road and Courtfield Gardens, stands St Jude’s Church. Built in the late 1870’s, in gothic revival style, St Jude’s is occupied by St Mellitus College, a theological institute of learning, and a charity dedicated to the homeless. The surrounding grounds and gardens, with age old trees, shrubs, and flowering plants, provide a welcoming green space enjoyed by area residents and passersby alike.
