There are many times David and I want something quick and light for dinner. Sometimes we’ve had a busy day and are simply too tuckered out to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. We rarely, if ever, eat fast food and only occasionally dine out. That’s why we keep our pantry and fridge stocked with healthy foods we enjoy, like a simple fruit and Cheese platter.
Fruit and cheese platters are delicious and satisfying. You can make one in a matter of minutes with staples you have on hand. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, but wow … you can feel as if you’re dining in a five-star restaurant with a bit of creativity.

Directions:
- Serve your cheese with a cheese slicer or slice it beforehand.

Easy peasy and oh so good!
The weather here in Southern California has been very hot. Too hot to enjoy being outdoors during the day. So in the evening, when the air cools down, we make plans to sit outside on the patio. We even had a movie night with a fruit and cheese platter for dinner. It was fabulous. We watched one of my favorite movies with a French countryside background. Sitting under the stars while munching on fruit and cheese made for a tasty and memorable evening. We didn’t have to heat the kitchen with cooking and never left the house for our theater setting. It was perfect!
We used Kasseri and Gorgonzola on our fruit and cheese platter, along with our favorite white sharp cheddar cheese.
It was wonderful!
We recommend that you, our kids and grandkids, have a fun and relaxing movie night with your favorite fruits and cheeses on a platter too!

I love Stella Cheeses. My husband and I lived in Minneapolis for a short time and became hooked on fancy cheese platters with fruit!
