Yes. And also when booking hotels.
Spice says
No, hardly ever. The only time I do is when we’re buying a new car and I read about it’s safety. Happy Aloha Friday! Mines up over at http://spiceworld.us
The Woman says
yes on electronics
TheAngelForever says
Yes! On big ticket items we always research as much as we can. I did a lot of looking and searching for people’s views on vacuum cleaners the last few weeks before we bought a new one. Then I went to the store to look at the two in question. I was so glad to have had the information because everyone was right on the one – the hose was too short.
Have a great weekend!

I do on occasion. But mostly I do it word of mouth rather than consumer reports. But sometimes we do major research on big ticket items and would look at that information, too.
Sage and Savvy says
Yes, especially on electronics or products/brands I have never heard of before.
Aloha Monkey says
Definitely! I like to do as much research on a product as possible before making the plunge. Consumer reviews weigh the heaviest in my decisions.

Yes, if it’s a product I’m not familiar with. I think I’ve saved myself some money AND frustration by doing so. 🙂

Yes, I almost always do!!

Definitely especially if it’s a big purchase like something electronic.
