I’ve never really considered wearing any kind of lighted head device. Never thought I’d have the use for one. I’ve never had occasion to use a work headlight or a night headlight. Handheld flashlights had worked fine so far. I have seen contestants on a popular reality TV show wear headlights while racing around the world. Still, why would I need a headlight? After using Energizer Beam HeadLights I can see why they’re so useful, helpful and a practical necessity.
Before getting one I thought of several different situations where Energizer HeadLights could be put to task. At Walmart I was able to choose from a selection of different styles. I purchased the Energizer Brilliant Beam complete with Energizer batteries included. The Brilliant Beam extends up to 250 feet and has other light settings that proved to be very helpful. It’s said that two hands are better than one. When using Energizer HeadLights both hands are free. No need to hold a flashlight while the other hand tries to do the work of two.
First test: How could a headlight help with an engine problem late at night and far from home, or even near? Would it be useful when stranded in the dark? I found the Energizer HeadLights to be spot on. With the direction of the light beam being adjustable, I was able to have the light shine directly in my line of sight. And both hands were free.
Another test was geared toward dealing with a flat tire situation. Using the flood light setting the Energizer HeadLights provided ample light in the darkened environment. There was enough light to help change a flat, if needed.
The next ‘test drive’ was in the car. I wanted to see if the owners manual could be easily read. With Energizer HeadLights being the only source of light, they again proved their worth.
Emergencies at home can and do happen unexpectedly. Being prepared for the unexpected is essential. In the instance of a power outage, one of the first places to check would be the fuse box. In the dark I was able to open the combination lock, then open and inspect the trip switches. It would’ve been so much more difficult otherwise. And I thought I’d never have a use for headlights!
If the fuse box wasn’t the problem (or the answer), and you’re still left in the dark, you could more easily obtain stored emergency equipment. Without electricity this emergency backpack was retrieved with the assist of headlights. No need to feel around for the contents and hope for the best because they were well lit and accessible.
Without electrical power, issues can also occur outdoors. The red headlights option provides enhanced night vision. They can be used independently or in conjunction with any of the brighter LED light settings. I was surprised and impressed with the difference the enhanced vision made.
Headlights made it so much easier to find a tool in the dark in the event it was needed.
Before this experience I thought I had no use or need for any kind of headlight. I’ve learned there are more uses for Energizer HeadLights than I could have imagined. When circumstances call for an easy-to-use portable light source, that’s reliable and effective, Energizer HeadLights are useful, helpful, and practically a necessity. They #LightMyWay and could light yours, too. Especially so with Energizer batteries. And Energizer HeadLights would be a great gift for Father’s Day!
