Today is the last day to enter a ‘numbers’ themed photo on 365 Project. Five photos will be selected within the next few days out of all those posted and entered. To date there are 465 entries. The five will then be up for a vote by any 365 Project member that chooses to praticipate in the process. The winner will be announced the following week and will get to choose the theme for the next theme project. The previous theme was ‘ink’ and the prior theme to that was ‘framed.’ Stay tuned for the next theme category!
The bottom coin and top two are believed to be Roman denarius of ancient origin (denarius being derived from the Latin dēnī “containing ten”). The 1881 $5 gold coin is of US mint. The commemorative coin dated 1958 depicts a profile of Elizabeth II on the flip side. The smallest coin is stamped “California Gold” and 1853, with no apparent denomination.
