We’ve got the cutest little book to share today.
A simply delightful story about a family and purple toes.
The story is written by Blair Hahn and taken from his own experience. Did you catch that? His own experience! My Purple Toes is a story about a dad who went with his teenage daughter (at her request) to get a pedicure. When his daughter gets her toenails painted bright pink he teasingly asks “What about me?”
Blair Hahn and illustrator Tate Nation take us on a cheerful journey through a day with purple toes. Actually…there’s three sets of purple toes but none of them belong to mom or the kids.
Dad has purple toes and so does Gus the dog!
At first the kids giggle and get embarrassed by Dad’s purple toes.
Um…I wish my toes were as perfectly shaped as Dad’s purple toes!
Our grand daughter loves My Purple Toes! We’ve read it over and over again and now… she’s reading it by herself! We like to imagine our own purple toes walking in the cool grass and in the warm sand.
On every single page there’s an adorable character who too has purple toes.
Can you spot him in this picture?
It’s the frog!
We adore the frog!!
My Purple Toes is a wonderful fun story that donates a significant portion of its proceeds to benefit children in the United States and around the world through nonprofit, Soles4Souls, which collects and distributes shoes at no cost to people in need.

We also got a copy of this book and I love the leasons within it. Of course it made me giggle when my son picked out purple polish for my toes this summer 😉
