This week the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey’s “Fully Charged” Circus will open in Ontario. It’s the last stop in Southern California before heading to Bakersfield, CA.
We took our three grandchildren last week to a show in Anaheim, CA. A very good time was had by all.
One of my favorite things about the circus is the National Anthem. I’m moved every time the elephant enters the arena decked out in red white and blue. The circus is full of action packed performances from the moment it starts to the grand finale. Non-stop! Three rings all at the same time so everyone in the audience has a good view.
There are daring fire jugglers. The Fernandez Brothers who followed in their father’s and uncle’s footsteps onto the wheels of steel. The audience applauds and gasps the entire time they’re performing. Seriously!!
The Tianyicheng Troupe puts “bounce” into acrobatics unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The twenty young men and women perform high flying dance moves all on bounce stilts. Amazing!
The finale is nothing short of grand!
We laughed, cried, cheered, gasped and of course … ate popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cones while drinking lemonade.
