This is my mom when she was 6 years old in 1927. I have no idea who the goat is! Tomorrow we'll be celebrating her life. My mother left this mortal life on June 21, 2012. She joined my father, my sister Diana, my daughter Britt, my baby Phillip and all her family and friends that preceded her in death. This week is bittersweet and with a photo that will be one of my favorites forever and ever. We spent this week at my 91 (in September) year old mother's bedside. Mom’s 90th Birthday
Yesterday was my mother's 90th birthday. Yes ... 90! Family and friends gathered together to help her celebrate. Ten days ago NY's mother wasn't feeling well. She went to the hospital and was admitted for pneumonia. Because of her age, diabetes and other age related issues, we were given grim statistics and within a few days hospice was sent in to counsel with the family.
