There is something about egrets. Can't quite put a finger on it, but I love to watch them walk about on their long legs as they poke around for something to eat. The Old Red Barn
Sometimes things just aren't as they seem. Sometimes a rustic old red barn isn't where you would imagine it would be. Like this old barn. Late Bloomer
Back on December 31 we had a freak snow storm in our little valley. One of those storms that only occurs maybe once every 20 years or so. The icy snow did quite a bit of damage to our wimpy Southern California foliage. Fact is we lost a lot of plants including the 25 foot tall junipers lining our front walkway.
