NY and I relaxed in the morning while I prepared candied yams and cranberries. We celebrated Thanksgiving #1 with NY’s family at his brother’s house. We then took our yams and cranberries to our daughter-in-law’s parents house to celebrate with her family. The kids and grands are going to the high desert to camp and ride quads for the weekend. We’re over the top excited to have Princess Kennedy spend the weekend with us. She’s presently snuggled up with Grandpa watching The Little Mermaid.
Where did you go and what did you do for your Thanksgiving festivities?

Hi Cathi. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here but I love the thought behind this special occasion. Glad to know you had a wonderful celebration with your family.

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving too so it was a typical day for us but it was my birthday last Thursday so we had a little gathering at home.

Charlotte,
I love your Turkey Day slide show. Very Fun!!
Marie,
The kids (our son & his wife) and the babies, (our two grandsons ages 4 & 7) are camping and off roading in Ocotillo Wells which is in Northeast San Diego County. We get to have our grand daughter (age 2 on 12/03) stay with us while her family is off playing in the dirt. 🙂
Rachel,
What are some of the National holidays that you celebrate in the Philippines?

We were home alone as a family. Five out of six kids are sick, so it was a good thing. We had turkey, Stove Top stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, rolls, black olives, and cranberries. Then Pumpkin Pie with Cool Whip for dessert. 🙂
