Thirteen years ago today our daughter, Britt Leanna died in an auto accident. The following photos take us back to just about the time she started high school. She loved high school. Not necessarily the academics…but being with her brothers and friends. I think she lived by the philosophy that… it wasn’t the grade you got on a test that mattered most…it was who you sat by and what you wore when you took the test. *wink*
I’ll always remember how much zest Britt had for life. She was always busy never sitting still and always, always involved in anything fun and exciting.

I love the back of this dress! Funny story… when I made the dress I couldn’t get the hook and eye at the top of the zipper to lay flat (to my liking) so…. after Britt put the dress on, I sewed it closed.

Cathi, I never knew Britt like this. I knew the little girl, swimming in my pool. Running around at the ball games. Sitting on the ant hill at my house, all the barbeques. Her hugging Nephi all the time. Now i have these memories. Thank you so much. I can only say I loved Britt, the little rascal….Love Frannie

Cathi,
I miss her too. Thank you for sharing these photos. The one of us too at Homecoming is one of my most favorite photos. She loved me so much and I felt it. I hope she felt my love too. Thanks for all of your encouragement this past week.
