Saturday night we dragged Monkey Boy upstairs for the ‘five in our bed’ sleep-over. But first thing the next morning he was rocking at it again.
We all did enjoy Rock Band, even me and grandpa. Monkey Boy however couldn’t wrap his mind around the fact that, as I told him, some of the songs really ARE NOT music. There isn’t a beat anyone could dance to (thus the reason a lot of kids nowadays just jump up and down), and there isn’t a melody (just screaming)! Some of the words to the songs are not appropriate for young children which is why the game has the “Teen” rating. Because so many young children want to play, I believe Nintendo should produce software appropriate for the younger generation.
Our son told me that I can download songs to play on Rock Band. This is something I will definitely research. In our home what we need is some good “old fashion”
Rock and Roll!

Rock Band is so much fun to do with family or friends. There is always someone who makes me laugh so hard I almost pee my pants!

I’ve heard that game is so much fun . . . and addicting. That’s why I refuse to try it. That and I’m not the most coordinated person in the world. hee hee
