The magic of Disney doesn’t stop when you leave one of the parks. The resorts all have magical themes that take you to a different time and place. For the last part of our stay at Walt Disney World we set up home in the Port Orleans Riverside. The ambiance was both romantic, relaxing and reminiscent of an old southern plantation mansion. The rivers of Port Orleans meander from one resort to the next and all the way to Downtown Disney.

With boat rentals available and ferry boats every 1/2 hour, the adventure continued right outside our door. On our final day our plan was to rent a two seater motor boat and cruise the river. However, I discovered I had somehow misplaced my wallet. Our river exploration plans came to a halt while the search was on. With precious little time remaining my wallet was found. I suppose we’ll have to go back, if only for the motor boat ride!

I love Port Orleans Riverside. We loved staying there when it was called Dixie Landings. So many happy memories of walking and riding bikes by the river and mansions. BTW – great work on the watermarking 🙂
