Flying stand-by when I really needed to be in NYC probably wasn’t the best idea. I was scheduled to fly to NYC with my friend Kailani but instead, I stood at the window waving at her as “our” plane left the gate without me.
I was lucky though and after spending all day at the airport I got the last available seat on the last flight of the day. And very lucky that last seat was in first class where I was able to get some much needed (4.5 hours worth) sleep.
Kailani was waiting patiently when I arrived and we began our big NYC adventure. After checking into our hotel we explored the surrounding area a bit.
New York is indeed a magical city.
It was a wonderful day!! And… BlogHer10 hasn’t even started yet!

As much as I loved all of BlogHer, Thursday was so special. I finally met you and Kailani. It was wonderful really getting to talk to Debra after barely saying hello to her at Disney in February. The wonderful women from the TIA, other bloggers and Helen were added perks. I am sorting through my photos and going to post soon.
